Mehmet Gozetlik

An intriguing project title don’t you agree? Turkish designer, Mehmet Gozetlik, has produced a series of re-designs of popular high street brands showing them in four phases of existence from the original design to a completely stripped down minimal version. What is interesting about this project is just how many of the packaging and brand logos actually look a lot better in their most minimal state and maybe it is something that all manufacturers should consider doing. Less ink, less packaging, less waste, less pollution.

I wonder what would happen if the branding was removed completey and all that was left was the packaging itself. How many brands would remain identifyable based purely on the shape of their container?

The behance portfolio only shows a small sample of the different designs that Gozetlik created, for more head over to his personal website.
